What this page covers
This process applies to personal information held through official Jamia Binoria Aalamia websites and authorised digital services where we are responsible for the information. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. We will apply any rights and response periods required by the law that applies to the request.
How to request deletion
You can submit a deletion request using any of these official channels:
What to include in your request
Providing enough detail helps us locate the correct records while avoiding unnecessary collection of more information.
Identity verification
Before deleting personal information, we may need to confirm that the requester is the person concerned or is properly authorised to act for them. Verification should be proportionate to the sensitivity of the records and the risk of deleting the wrong person’s information.
We may ask you to confirm a known email address, phone number, transaction reference or other information already associated with the record. If a representative acts for you, we may request evidence of their authority.
What may be deleted
Where applicable and no valid reason requires continued retention, deletion may include:
- Website enquiry or contact-form information.
- Newsletter or non-essential communication profiles.
- Social-login profile information received and stored by us.
- Duplicate, outdated or no-longer-needed profile data.
- Other personal information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Where appropriate, we may anonymise information instead of retaining it in identifiable form.
What we may need to retain
A deletion request does not always require every record to be erased. We may keep limited information where reasonably necessary or required, including:
- Donation, accounting, audit, receipt, banking or financial records that must be retained.
- Student, academic, admission, safeguarding or welfare records where retention is required for legitimate institutional or legal purposes.
- Records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, investigate fraud or protect security.
- A minimal suppression record needed to remember that you opted out of non-essential communications.
- Information required by applicable law, regulation, court order or another binding obligation.
What happens next
We will handle valid requests within any period required by applicable law. Where no specific statutory period applies, our operational aim is to respond within 30 days after sufficient verification, although complex requests may require more time.
Children & student records
Where a request concerns a child or student below the age of majority, we may need to verify the authority of the parent, guardian or other authorised person making the request.
Some student, academic, sponsorship, safeguarding or welfare records may need to be retained even after a deletion request because of educational, protection, audit or legal responsibilities. Public-facing or non-essential information should receive especially careful review.
Backups & technical copies
When information is removed from active systems, residual copies may temporarily remain in secure backups, logs or disaster-recovery systems until they are overwritten or expire under the applicable retention cycle. Such copies should not be returned to ordinary active use except where necessary for security or recovery.
Questions or disagreement with the outcome
If you believe we misunderstood your request, deleted the wrong scope, or retained information without a valid reason, reply to the response or contact us again and ask for the matter to be reviewed.
You may also have a right to contact a relevant data-protection or regulatory authority where such a right exists under the law that applies to you.
Contact
For deletion or privacy questions, use the channels below. The dedicated Privacy Policy explains our broader information-handling practices.

Facebook & social logins
If you used Facebook, Meta or another social-login provider to interact with an official Jamia Binoria service, you may request deletion through the same channels above. Please identify the platform and, if available, the email address or identifier associated with that login.
Deleting information held by Jamia Binoria does not automatically delete information independently held by the social platform. You may also manage app permissions or account data directly through that platform’s privacy or account settings.
